Investigation and Management of Species and their Habitats

Scientific studies of non-timber forest species and their habitats, including their traditional knowledge, whereby is possible to generate technical bases for their local communities´ production and the friendly environmental management.
Studies and actions addressed to the adjustment to the climatic change of non-timber forest species and their habitats.

Transformation and Supporting Trade

Developing transformation processes of non-timber forest species addressed to having a higher added value in local product.
Transferring know-how and technologies to local producers aimed at strengthening local capacities and achieving economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Promoting networks of cooperation among producers and people transforming biodiversity products that will enable them to exchange experiences and strengthen their own capacities.

Supporting the Trade of Biodiversity Products

Marketing studies --national and international--, of non-timber forest producers addressed to the improvement of gained earnings.
Promoting alliances and the trade of products derived from biodiversity.
